The answers you came for.
Everything about our formats, safety, travel rules, and where to find Relief On The Go — in one place.
The basics.
Are these the same medicines I'd buy in a normal-size bottle?
Yes. Every Relief On The Go product contains the exact same active ingredient, in the exact same dose, in the exact same formulation as the full-size bottle you'd find at a pharmacy. A Tylenol Extra Strength caplet in our pouch is a Tylenol Extra Strength caplet. We don't reformulate — we just repackage.
Why single-dose pouches instead of a regular bottle?
Because a 100-count bottle doesn't actually fit into the life most of us live. It's too big for a carry-on, too loose for a glove box, and the pills inside it start to lose potency the moment you open the seal. Single-dose pouches are flat, light, sealed against moisture, individually dated, and sized for the places you actually are when you need relief.
How long do the pouches last?
Each pouch is stamped with a "use by" date from the manufacturer — typically 24 to 36 months from the date of packaging. Because each dose is individually foil-sealed, the contents stay protected from moisture, heat, and light until you open that specific pouch. You can check the exact date stamped on the back of each individual pouch.
What does the "2ct" or "single-dose" label actually mean?
Most of our pain-relief products come as "2-count" pouches — two caplets or liqui-gels sealed inside one foil pouch. That's the standard adult dose for most of these medicines (read the label to confirm for your specific product). Our AXIV cold/flu and allergy products are packaged as individual blister doses.
Using our products safely.
How do I know the right dose for me?
Every product carries a full "Drug Facts" label — on the carton, on the back of each individual pouch, and on the product page on this site. Follow the dosing instructions on the label carefully, and do not exceed the maximum daily dose listed. If you're unsure whether a product is right for you, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.
Can I take this with other medications?
Possibly, but you should always check. Each Drug Facts panel lists medications and conditions to watch for. If you're taking a blood thinner, steroid, other pain reliever, or any prescription medication — or if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a chronic condition — please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any over-the-counter medicine, including ours.
Can kids take these?
Our current lineup is formulated and dosed for adults and children 12 years and older, except where specifically noted on the label. For children under 12, please use a pediatric product formulated for their age and weight, and consult a pharmacist or pediatrician.
What if I have an allergy or medical condition?
Always read the full label before taking any medication for the first time. The "Do not use" and "Ask a doctor before use" sections of each Drug Facts panel list the specific conditions and allergies to be aware of. When in doubt, speak with a healthcare professional.
Taking them on the road.
Are these TSA / airline approved?
Yes. Solid over-the-counter medications in their original labeled packaging are permitted in both carry-on and checked luggage on every major airline, with no quantity restriction. Our pouches carry the full Drug Facts label and brand-name identification on every dose, which is exactly what airport security looks for.
Can I fly internationally with them?
Rules vary by country. Most destinations permit personal-use quantities of common over-the-counter pain and allergy medications. A few countries have stricter rules — particularly around combination cold medicines. Check the customs website of your destination before travel if you're unsure, and keep products in their original packaging.
Will the pouches survive being in a hot car or backpack?
Yes, within reason. Each dose is individually foil-sealed against moisture and heat. We recommend storing products below 25°C / 77°F when possible, but a normal day in a glove box, carry-on, or backpack is well within the tolerance of the packaging.
